Boston Bread Bread
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 cup barley flour
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 3/4 cps meal
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 1 teaspoon salt
Put rolled oats through food chopper and use 1 cup of flour thus made. Add barley flour and corn meal sifted with baking powder and salt. Add molasses and water gradually. Mix thoroughly, fill greased baking powder tins 2/3 full, cover, put on trivet in kettle of boiling water, and steam 3 hours. Serve hot, cold reheated, or toasted.
