Boiled White Fish
- 1 white fish
- 2 Tbsps salt
- Butter
- Pepper
- Hard-boiled eggs
Lay the fish open. Put in a dripping pan with the back down. Nearly cover with water. To one fish, put 2 Tbsps of salt. Cover the pot tightly and simmer (not boil) for half an hour. Dress with gravy, a little butter and pepper. Garnish with hard-boiled eggs.
