Boiled Salad Dressing
- 1/2 cup water
- 2/3 cup vinegar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Bring water and vinegar to boiling point. Stir rapidly into beaten egg and mixed dry ingredients. Return to fire and cook until thick. Cool before using.
