Boiled Ham with Noodles
- 1 pound boiled ham
- Noodles, 1/4 inch wide
- 1 pint milk
- 2-3 eggs beaten
- Salt and pepper
- Butter
- Noodles:
- 4 beaten eggs
- Butter the size of a walnut
- 2 cups flour
Chop ham fine. Cook noodles in boiling salted water for approximately ten minutes; drain. Place a layer of noodles in buttered baking dish, then a layer of ham; repeat 2 or 3 times, finishing with layer of noodles. Combine milk with beaten eggs, pepper and salt; pour atop ham and noodles. Dot with butter and bake in 350° F.oven for approximately an hour.
Noodles:
Combine 4 beaten eggs with butter the size of a walnut; beat well. Add 2 cups flour and knead the dough for 20 minutes or until it is very soft. Roll out paper thin, so that one may see through it; let dry out a little, then roll together and cut. Dry before cooking.
