Boiled Dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- cayenne
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Mix dry ingredients. Add egg, slightly beaten, butter, milk, and slowly the vinegar. Cook in a double boiler until thick and creamy.
