Blueberry Muffins

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 2/3 cups sifted flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup blueberries
Cream butter, sugar and egg, stir in milk, then the sifted dry ingredients and the blueberries, with only enough mixing to moisten the batter. Pour into greased muffin pans and bake in hot oven 425°F., 20 to 25 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
