  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 small onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
Wash rice and place in double boiler with water and salt. Place tomatoes and onion into a granite stew pan and simmer gently until tomato is nicely seasoned with onion.
