Blackberry Syrup
- Fruit
- 1 pound of white sugar
- 1 small teacupful of old brandy
Procure fruit fully ripe, extract the juice, and to each quart add one pound of white sugar; boil it about half an hour, and then skim it. When cool enough to bottle, add a small teacupful of old brandy.
