Bismarcks
- 1 Yeast Coffee Cake
- Cup of flour.
- Fruit jelly
- Cooked apple
- Sugar
Prepare Yeast Coffee Cake dough using an additional cup of flour. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds. On half the pieces, pile some fruit jelly or piece of cooked apple, cover each with plain round and press them together well. Put Bismarcks on floured pan and let rise with love and patience. Fry in deep fat, 370°F., turning once. Drain on absorbent paper, delicately sprinkle with sugar. When frying, don't overcrowd the pan as the Bismarcks will cook to better advantage if they can float a bit.
