Best Biscuits Ever

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Sift flour into a bowl with salt (and optional sugar). Add cream to form a soft dough. Place on a lightly floured surface (on a lightly greased baking pan) and roll to a 1/2" - 3/4" thickness and cut with biscuit cutter or cut in squares. Or the dough can be rolled into small balls in your floured hands and smashed slightly flatter with one's hands after pacing on the pan.

Bake at 425 for approximately 10-12 minutes.

Makes approximately 20-24 biscuits.
