Beer - Made with Hops

  • 10 ounces of hops
  • 1 pint of molasses
  • 1 gallon of water
  • Green sage
Take ten ounces of hops, and one pint of molasses, and one gallon of water. The hops must be put into the water, and be boiled two or three hours, the liquor must then be strained, and the molasses be added. A handful of green sage is considered an improvement. After being properly fermented, which will require three days, the liquor must be bottled.
