Beef Tea

  • 1 pound of lean beef
  • 1 quart of boiling water
  • Milk
Take one pound of lean beef, and cut it in very thin slices; put it into a jar, and pour a quart of boiling water upon it, cover it very close to keep in the stream, and let it stand by the fire. It must be used when it is milk warm.
