Bavarian Cream

  • 1 pint thick cream
  • Lemon or vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps gelatin
Sweeten the cream to taste and flavor with lemon or vanilla. Churn the cream to a froth. Skim off the froth as it rises and put it in a glass dish.

Dissolve the gelatin in lukewarm water (above 90 degrees). When dissolved, pour into the froth and stir for 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Set in the refrigerator.

It will be ready to serve in a few hours.
