Battercake Pudding

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Add sugar to beaten egg yolks and beat again. Mix butter, salt and vanilla into first mixture and add flour and milk alternately. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, and pour into heavily buttered mold. Place mold in pan of hot water and bake in oven at 350°F., about 1 hour or until firm. Serve hot, cut in squares with your favorite pudding sauce.
