Bath Biscuit
- 1 quart of flour
- 1/4 pound of sugar
- 1/4 pound of butter
- 1 egg
- Milk,
Take one quart of flour, quarter of a pound of sugar, quarter of a pound of butter, and one egg. Mix the whole into a good dough, form it into biscuit shape, wash them with milk, place them on tins, prick them with a pin, and keep them dry. Your oven must bot be very hot.
