Baked Stuffed Sweet Peppers
- 6 large green peppers
- 1 pound veal, chopped or ground
- 2 cups dry bread crumbs
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- shake of onion salt
- pepper
Mix thoroughly and fill pepper shells that have been well washed and seeds removed. Bake 1 hour. Oysters, tomatoes, and various other vegetables make excellent filling for pepper shells.
