Baked Spaghetti
- 1 package spaghetti
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- dash of white pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons grated cheese
- 2 teaspoons salt
- dash of paprika
Break spaghetti into pieces; put on with 2 quarts of boiling water and salt, and boil 30 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Drain, and put into a baking dish, pour sauce over all, and place carefully in oven and bake until a light brown.
Sauce:
Melt butter, add flour, and stir until smooth. Return to fire and add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes, or until it has a creamy consistency; add cheese and seasoning; stir until cheese melts.
