Baked Omelet

  • 4-6 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp flour or cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Butter
Beat the egg whites and egg yolks separately. Add to the egg yolks the milk, flour or cornstarch, baking powder, salt and lastly, the stiff beaten egg whites. Bake in a heavily buttered pie tin or pan for about 30 minutes in a steady oven (holding consistent temperature) at 350 degrees F. It should be served the moment it is taken out of the oven as it is liable to fall.
