Baked Indian Pudding
- 1 quart milk scalded
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4 eggs, beater
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
Add cornmeal to scalded milk, cook few minutes while stirring constantly. Add butter. Mix other ingredients together, add to cornmeal mixture. Pour into buttered baking dish and bake until set, in oven heated to 350F 350°F.,Serves 12.
