Asparagus Shortcake
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 can asparagus
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Shortcake
Make a simple shortcake, using a rich biscuit dough. Split, and spread with butter. Make a white sauce of the butter, salt, flour, and milk. Mix asparagus with sauce, and bring to boiling point. Spread on shortcake and serve on a hot dish.
