Anise Seed Cookies
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 2 teaspoons anise seed
- 1 lemon, grated rind only
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
Put eggs, sugar, anise seed and lemon rind in top of double boiler, beat stiff over boiling water. Cool and add the flour and cornstarch. Let stand overnight, then drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet; bake.
