Almond Cake No.2
- 1 pound of sugar
- 6 ounces of butter
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 pound of blanched almonds
- 1/2 glass of rose-water
Take one pound of sugar, six ounces of butter, four eggs, (leaving out two whites) quarter of a pound of blanched almonds, and half a glass of rose-water. Beat the butter very light, and bake it in a mold or pan.
