Baked Fresh Mackerel

  • Mackerel
  • Milk
  • Salt
  • Bread crumbs or cornmeal
  • Mustard Sauce
Cut a fresh mackerel into fillets and wipe them with a moist cloth. Dip in milk, delicately sprinkle with salt and roll, roll, roll in fine sifted bread crumbs or cornmeal. Place in oiled baking dish or on a hot, greased "sizzling" platter. Cook quickly in a hot oven at 425°F., Serve with Mustard Sauce.
