White Sauce for Pittsburgh Potatoes
- 1 pint milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 pound tasty cheese
Scald milk, thicken with cornstarch, and add seasoning and cheese, cut into small pieces. Cook until cheese is melted, then pour atop potatoes.
