White Ginger Biscuit
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream or milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp warm water
- 1 Tbsp ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 5 cups flour, sifted
- Egg white or sugar
Mix all of the ingredients together. Dissolve the baking soda in 1 Tbsp lukewarm water (above 90 degrees). Add enough flour to be able to roll out the batter soft. Cut out rather thick, like biscuits. Brush over the tops, while hot, with egg white or delicately sprinkle with sugar.
