Wheat Wafers

  • 1 quart graham or whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 heaping tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups ice cold milk
Rub salt and butter into flour, mix to a dough with the milk. Knead thoroughly, until smooth. Set in a cold place for 2 hours or longer. Roll very thin, place on a baking sheet, mark off in squares, and bake in a hot oven until crisp.
