Western Salad
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup beets, diced
- 2 tsps horseradish
- 2 Tbsps mixed pickles, chopped
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/2 8-oz. jar mayonnaise
- 1/2 small head of lettuce
Combine the shredded cabbage, diced beets, horseradish and chopped pickles. Season well with pepper and salt. Arrange on crisp leaves of lettuce. Cover with mayonnaise. Serve at once.
