Wedding Fruit Cake
- 3/4 lb butter
- 1 lb sugar
- 10 eggs
- 1 pint molasses
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/2 cup Madeira wine
- 1 lb citron
- 3 lbs currants
- 4 lbs raisins
- 1/2 ounce
- mace
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
- 2 nutmegs
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups flour
Mix all of the ingredients well together. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F for 6-8 hours. This may be kept for 1 year.
