Waffles
- 1 quart flour
- 1 pint sour milk or buttermilk
- 2 ounces butter
- Salt
- 1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in a little hot water
Rub the butter into the flour with the salt mixed in it. Add milk and mix into a batter. Add the dissolved baking soda. Bake in shallow tins.
