Vegetarian Loaf
- 2 cups white bread crumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups nuts, cut less fine than meal
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon sage, rubbed fine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pepper and celery salt
Add milk to well beaten eggs, pour in the crumbs, and beat. Add other ingredients, and pour all into a well buttered pan. Bake 1/2 hour. If basted with melted butter from time to time, it will be richer and have a moist crust.
