Veal Patty (or Beef)

  • 3 pounds raw leg of veal chopped very fine
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 8 tablespoon of rolled crackers
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • Butter
  • Pepper
Mould into a loaf; put into pan with a little water; delicately sprinkle with cracker crumbs and small bits of butter on the top. An egg may be added. Bake two hours and eat cold.
