Sweet Potatoes with Apples
- Sweet potatoes
- sugar
- apples
- salt
- butter
Cut sweet potatoes into 1/4 inch pieces, and put into a buttered baking dish. Cover with pared and thinly sliced apples. For each layer use 1 cup sweet potatoes to 3/4 cup apples, and delicately sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Dot each layer with 2 tablespoons butter. Ad many layers as desired may be used. Bake in a oven heated to 350F.
