Stuffed Tomatoes
- Tomatoes
- Shallot
- Butter
- Bread crumbs
- Ham, finely minced
- Parsley, finely minced
- Sweet herbs, finely minced
- Pepper
- Salt
- Toast
Dip the tomatoes in hot water. Cut them in halves and remove the pips. Rub a baking sheet with shallot and butter it well. Lay the tomatoes, filling each half with the stuffing.
To make the stuffing, mix 2 parts bread crumbs and 1 part minced ham. Add, according to taste, minced parsley, sweet herbs, pepper and salt. Put a small piece of butter on each tomato half. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F for 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Put a tomato half on a piece of buttered toast and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
