Stuffed Cabbage

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup white sauce
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup left over vegetables or meat, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsps parsley, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Wash cabbage and cook until partially tender in salted water. Turn upside down to drain. Mix meat or vegetables, bread crumbs, white sauce and seasonings together. Turn back leaves of cabbage carefully and arrange filling between them. Tie with string and cook with filling side up until tender.
