Strawberries in Red Wine
- 1 quart strawberries
- 1 pint red wine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 orange juice and grated rind
Clean and wash the strawberries, add the wine, sugar and orange juice and rind. Let stand in a cool place for about 4 hours, stirring at least once every hour. Serve cold, accompanied with sponge cake or lady finders.
