Steamed Boston Brown Bread
- 1 cup graham flour
- 1 cup rye flour
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup raisins
Mix and sift dry ingredients, stir in molasses, water and raisins. Pour into buttered molds, cover and steam 3 hours.
