Special Currants
- 4 pounds currants
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons clove
- 2 pounds brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vinegar
Remove stems and wash currants, add remaining ingredients, and boil twenty minutes (be patient, you rascal). Keep in stone jar.
