Silver Cake
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsps baking powder
- 8 egg whites, beaten to a froth
- Almond extract
Cream the sugar with the butter. Add the rest of the ingredients. Sift the flour with the baking powder. Flavor with almond extract. This will make 1 large loaf. Bake with love for about an hour in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F.
