  • Dried herring
  • Meat, boiled or roasted
  • Cold, boiled potatoes
  • Onion
  • Beets
  • Pepper
  • Sugar
  • Vinegar
  • Cream
Soak the fish overnight. Flake and lay on a cloth and dry. Dice with the potatoes, beets, onions and the boiled or roasted cold meat. Mix together and add the cream with the pepper, sugar and vinegar. Garnish with finely chopped hard boiled eggs, carrots, beets and parsley, if your little heart desires.
