Sausage & Apple

  • Sausages
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Apples, pared
Prick the skin of the sausages and simmer in a frying pan for 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Drain and brown in the oven.

Make a syrup of the sugar and water. Cook in it the pared apples, cut lattice fashion, a few at a time to preserve the shape.

Serve the sausage on the apple.
