Risotto

  • 1 small white onion, cut into pieces
  • Butter
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup chicken stock, soup or gravy
  • 1-2 Tbsps cheese, grated
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Giblets, chopped (optional)
Cook the onion in butter until rich golden brown. Add the cooked rice and chicken stock, soup or gravy. Cook until the rice has taken up the liquid. Sprinkle grated cheese into the rice. Add pepper, salt, a piece of butter and chopped giblets, if at hand.
