Plum Pudding
- 1 1/2 pounds muscatel raisins
- 1 3/4 pounds currants
- 1 pound sultana raisins
- 2 pounds moist sugar
- 2 pounds breadcrumbs
- 2 pounds chopped suet
- 6 ounce mixed peel
- Rind of 2 lemons
- 1 ounce ground nutmeg
- 1 ounce ground cinnamon
- 2 ounce chopped almonds
- 1/2 pint brandy
- 6 eggs
Mix all the dry ingredients together and moisten with the brandy and well-beaten eggs. Boil about 6 hours.
