Plain Ginger Pudding
- 3/4 cup suet
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tablespoons salt
- 3 large tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 large tablespoons molasses
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 large teaspoon ground ginger
- A small grating of nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sweet milk
- 1/2 cup cold water
Line a melon mold with raisins, pour in the batter, and steam for 2 1/2 hours.
