Piquant Beets
  • cooked beets
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
Peel beets, cut into slices, and toss for 3 or 4 minutes in a saucepan which contains the butter and lemon juice and sugar. Serve hot.
