Philadelphia Ice Cream No.2
- 2 quarts of thick cream
- 1 pint of milk
- 1/2 pound of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of soda
- 4 tablespoons hot water
Mix together 2 quarts of thick cream and 1 pint of milk and 1/2 pound of sugar; dissolve 1 tablespoon of soda in 4 tablespoons hot water, cool it, and add to the cream just before freezing. Flavor to suite the taste.
