Nut Oatmeal Roast

 
  • 2 cups cooked rolled oats
  • 3 eggs, well-beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped fine
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 3/4 cups diced celery
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (about)
Blend all ingredients, adding milk last. Turn into greased pan and let stand 30 minutes, then bake in a hot oven at 375°F., for 30 minutes. Serve plain or with tomato sauce. This is an excellent way to utilize left-over oatmeal or other cereal.
