Molasses Cake
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 large tablespoon shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 of cinnamon
Mix all together and add 1 cup boiling water.
