Molasses Bread

  • 1 cup molasses
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 salt spoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar in 1/4 cup of water
  • 3 tablespoons oil
Put molasses in a bowl and add flour until too thick stir easily. Then add vinegar and water, salt, oil, and soda, dissolve in 1 tablespoon water. The less flour to the molasses the stickier and more like candy it is. If more flour is used , more water will be needed. Bake in gem pans or pie pans, about 1 inch thick. Raisins may be added.
