Mint Julep
- 4 lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup strawberry juice
- 1/2 cup raspberry juice
- 6 sprigs mint
Boil sugar and water 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Crush mint and pour atop it 1 cup boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes, and then strain. Pour into syrup. Add juice of fruit and lemons. Serve ice cold.
