Maple Sugar Cream Candy

  • 1 cup thick cream
  • 2 cups maple sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
To cream add maple sugar cut in small pieces. Boil, stirring always one way until when tried in cold water the mixture adheres to spoon. Remove from fire and stir the opposite way until mixture gets quick thick; add chopped walnuts and pour out on buttered platter. When cold cut in small squares.
